May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
have nary a lump.
May your yams be delicious
and your pies take the prize,
and may your Thanksgiving dinner
stay off your thighs!

If you are having a less formal Thanksgiving dinner, why not let your children help decorate. Use white butcher's paper for the tablecloth and let the young ones decorate it with turkeys and pilgrims. They can glue on feathers and leaves to add to the design. This will be a keepsake you treasure for many years to come and allows the children to become a part of the tradition.
Let autumn be ended appropriately with a snowstorm, with a vague moving whiteness turning grey and night approaches, with snow settling down or streaking or swirling in aerial eddies.
