Corn Socks: These are so simple to do. Buy cheap socks at the Dollar General Store and some deer corn at the feed store. Fill the socks up with the corn and sew the top with quilting thread. That's it. Put the sock in the microwave for two minutes and viola'...stays warm for a long time. When traveling in the cold, I've even warmed them up by the heater in the truck. The corn holds in the moist, hot heat. You can use rice instead of corn. Sure feels nice.
